Michigan is the first of what will likely be many states to outlaw Four Loko. The energy infused booze has been given 30 days to clear out. There has been a mass hysteria as of late around Four Loko due to it's strong alcohol content and popularity with college-age kids. News outlets have been giving Four Loko the business for about a month now due to bannings at colleges all over the country.
As you all know, we here at Booze Party are on Team Four Loko. We're Americans and think people should be able to get smashed if they so choose. If you don't support Team Four Loko you don't support freedom and you're probably a commie pinko. Red Bull and vodka is cool but not the Loke? Explain.
This is only the beginning. If you think other states won't follow suit then you are mistaken (
Pennsylvania is already working on it). Unfortunately we are weak drunkards with no say and there isn't shit we can do about it...unless it were

So there's lots of good parties tonight that do not have any drink deals listed. Does that mean they don't have cheap booze? Nope. In fact some of these def have cheap booze but maybe not all of them. So here goes, proceed with caution.
- Panache & Todd P Halloween: Generally speaking Todd P shows tend to have cheap booze, most DIY shows do. The lineup is awesome: Das Racist, The Beets, Keepaway, Pictureplane, The Babies performing as The White Stripes and more. Will be a good time and most likely the booze is cheap. $13 cover in costume, $15 w/o.
- NY Night Train 5th Anniversary Spook-Tacular: Jonathan Toubin is one of the best DJs in NYC and tonight he celebrates 5 years of killer dance parties. Once again we have a semi-DIY type party so the booze should be cheap. Live music from No Bra, Ian Svenonius and more. $10 8pm-1am, $5 1am-5am.
- Fright Night: Halloween party at Gallery Bar which usually has cheap booze. Cobra Krames, Skinny Friedman, DKDS and pals are your DJs. Free before midnight, $3 after.
- Halloween Night: I haven't been to The Woods in awhile but it's an awesome bar and as I recall they have a variety of $3 beers.
